New C.A.O. President
David Savona
Posted: September 28, 2006
C.A.O. International Inc. has a new president. Tim Ozgener was promoted to president of the Nashville, Tennessee, cigar company last week. Ozgener, 37, is the son of company founder Cano A. Ozgener, and he previously served as vice president.
Tim Ozgener moves into the role of president as his father is taking a step back, and recovering from illness.
"My father has been fighting lymphoma on and off since 2001," said Ozgener. "I want him to be able to relax and take it easy."
The elder Ozgener, 69, said his son had been running the company on a de facto basis before the promotion.
