New Box-Pressed Maduro Cigars From United
Gregory Mottola
Posted: April 25, 2007
United Tobacco Inc. has created the 601 Box Pressed Maduro line, made in Nicaragua at the Tabacalera Cubana S.A. factory owned by Pepin Garcia. A Nicaraguan puro, it marks the first time that Pepin has commercially made a box-pressed cigar.
"This is the only maduro and the only box-pressed cigar that Pepin makes," said Erik Espinosa, vice president of United Tobacco. "Because he makes such great cigars, I figured that I would put him to the test of a box-pressed cigar."
