Habanos Releases Special Cuban H. Upmann Jar

In keeping with a Cuban cigar tradition, Habanos S.A., the worldwide distributor of Cuban cigars, has released a special-edition ceramic jar. The handsome, decorative container holds 30 H. Upmann Magnum 46 cigars and is only available in Germany and Switzerland.

"They are sold in select shops throughout Germany and Switzerland, but mainly in La Casa del Habanos," said Christoph Wolters, owner of the La Casa del Habano shop in Hamburg, Germany.

The jar, which was designed by Nelson Alfonso, weighs 1.8 kilograms (about four pounds) and comes with its own humidification device on the underside of the lid.
