Shake with ice and strain into a chilled Martini glass. Garnish with orange slice.

The Americano Highball
1 ounce Campari
2 ounces sweet vermouth
club soda
lemon peel

Pour the Campari and vermouth over ice cubes in a highball glass. Add soda to fill glass; stir and garnish with lemon peel.

Vesper
(James Bond's Lillet Martini)
3 ounces gin
1 ounce vodka
1/2 ounce Lillet Blanc
lemon peel

Shake with ice and strain into a Martini glass. Garnish with lemon peel.

Martini Jo
(from Brasserie Jo, Chicago)
3 1/2 ounces Skyy vodka
1/2 ounce Lillet Rouge
long, thin orange peel

Shake with ice and strain into a Martini glass. Garnish with orange peel.
