A Case for Larger Cigars
Michael Moretti
Posted: August 28, 2006
Cigars in the plus-size category seldom find a case that fits quite right. The folks at Noró Leather are sensitive to this problem and offer a holder to cover hefty smokes.
The case, appropriately called the 64 Ring Gauge Cigar Case, can accommodate up to a 64-ring gauge cigar. Produced in a factory in southern Spain that has been working in leather for eight generations, the cases are sutured using caribou and calfskin, with three- and two-finger versions, both of which are available in brown, tan and black. The cases are soft-shelled with exposed white stitching that complements the grain of the leather. The Noró emblem is branded to the front of each case, and custom logo cases are available.
The cases are priced at $85 for the three-finger case and $80 for the two-finger case. Noró also offers cases for more standard-sized ring gauges, at similar price points.
Noró leather products also include belts, wallets and cigar cutters. The company is owned by The Epicure Group, which in addition to Noró counts a cigar distribution service and a retail cigar shop in Las Vegas among its holdings.
