Cigar Insider Rates Cuba's Thickest Romeo

The new Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchill is the thickest Romeo y Julieta size in the Cuban cigar portfolio, and Cigar Insider has rated the hefty size in today's issue. The cigar measures 5 1/8 inches long by 55 ring gauge and will be part of the official Romeo production line.
Habanos S.A., the distributor of Cuba's cigar brands, noted in a release that the Wide Churchill follows the 2006 release of the Romeo Short Churchill, a 4 7/8 by 50 cigar that has been a "very successful" launch.
While some call the new, swollen Romeo a robusto, it is technically a montesco in Cuban cigar factories. The Wide Churchill comes packaged in boxes of 10 cigars, boxes of 25, or in three-packs with tubos. Each cigar will bear the recently redesigned Romeo y Julieta band along with a secondary gold band that reads "Wide Churchills."
Does the larger size equal more flavor, or is it just big for the sake of being big? See today's Cigar Insider to find out.
