Macanudo Offers Chance to Win $2 Million
Posted: June 17, 2010
Picture this: you at a poker table with three of your buddies, flanked by three Playmates, rolling like a VIP at the Playboy Club in Las Vegas, and you're about to be dealt a hand that could win you $2 million. Sound good?
We thought so.
The second annual Macanudo Millionaire contest is now officially under way, offering one lucky cigar smoker the chance to win $2 million while on an all-expense paid trip in Las Vegas.
Smokers can enter by purchasing specially-marked four-packs of Macanudo Café, Maduro, Robust and Gold Label cigars. The packs include details about entering the contest by means of brief essays.
The essays should express the smoker's desire to win and will be judged by a panel for creativity of overall story, description and expression of the cigar smoking experience, as well as relevance to the Macanudo cigar brand.
Smokers can also enter online at the contest's Web site, www.macanudomillionaire.com. The final day to enter your essay is August 31.
The winning entrant, along with three friends, will be whisked away in November on an all-expense paid, three day, two night trip to the Palms Hotel and Casino in Sin City.
On November 13 (the same night as Cigar Aficionado's Big Smoke), the winner will sit down at a poker table with his three friends in the Playboy Club at the Palms Casino Resort, and a dealer will then deal each of them a hand. Should any of these hands be a straight flush, the winning entrant will win a cool $2 million.
Now the odds of being dealt a straight flush are 1 in 64,974, but with three Playboy Playmates on your side, even if your chances are slim, at least you know it will be fun.
