The Cigar Mate

Handcrafted with top-grain leathers, the Cigar Mate offers an interesting twist on the travel cigar case that makes it easy for the cigar enthusiast to enjoy a taste of the good life away from home.

The case, in addition to holding cigars, features clasps for a flask (included) and two collapsible stainless-steel cups (also included), so cigar lovers can pair their favorite spirits with the smokes they are transporting.

Though the cups may feel a little like camping equipment, the idea is perfect for the golf course, boating or those times when you want a stiff drink with your cigar but it's not convenient to bring a bottle.

In addition, the case can hold up to four cigars (robusto size or smaller) that are held securely in place by leather Velcro straps. The placement of the straps also allows the owner to carry longer cigars (including "A" sized), but at the price of less space.

There is also a rectangle pocket in the Cigar Mate that can hold a cutter and lighter with room to spare. A hidden pocket in the lining is big enough for a scorecard, or even a Humidipak packet, if the owner feels so inclined.

Jim Pacelli, owner of Ultimate Cigar Accessories, makers of the Cigar Mate, says the company can also engrave the flask and emboss the leather to the customer's liking.

The Cigar Mate comes in Sierra tan or black and retails for $99. It is available at
