La Aroma de Cuba Brings Back Old Size
Gregory Mottola
Posted: March 22, 2010
You may remember La Aroma de Cuba Marquis for its colorful glossy tubo, but the size was cancelled after brand owners Ashton Distributors moved production of the series from Honduras to Nicaragua.
The Marquis is now back in production, but only available for special events, and in wooden boxes of 50 cigars.
"It's the thinnest size of the new blend and really show- cases the wrapper," said Sathya Levin, vice president of Ashton.
The Marquis measures 5 3/4 inches long by 48 ring, though the normal line starts at a 50 ring gauge and gets as hefty as 60. It will retail for $6.80.
