Montecristo Opens Branded Lounge

The branded cigar lounge trend continues to burn strong in the cigar industry. A Casa de Montecristo Cigar Lounge opened on Super Bowl Sunday in the Chicago sub- urb of Countryside, Illinois.

The store is the first Casa de Montecristo licensed shop, and features a private Montecristo cigar lounge with cigar lockers and smoking facilities.

Altadis also has a larger Montecristo cigar lounge at each home game for the Washington Redskins and FedEx Field, and the company has about one dozen licensed cigar lounges located across the country, with another 12 signed up.
