New Hampshire Smoking Ban
Michael Moretti
Posted: May 3, 2007
A proposed smoking ban for the Granite State, just barely beaten back last year, has reentered the doors of New Hampshire's House of Representatives.
Currently being reviewed by the commerce committee, the ban has passed the state Senate but has yet to reach the House floor for a vote. Local cigar men like Victor Vitale, owner of the Cigar Agency, a New Hampshire—based sales and marketing firm for the cigar industry and David Garofalo, co-owner of Two Guys Smoke Shop and a 20-year retail tobacco veteran in New England, are already taking up arms against it.
