Drew Estate, better known for its flavored (or infused) cigars, recently released the premium, non-flavored Chateau Real, which is a blend of Connecticut-seed wrapper from Ecuador, Mata Fina binder from Brazil and filler from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The brand is being marketed as a mild smoke and comes in eight sizes: Lord Tennyson, 7 inch by 50 ring; Gran Templar, 6 by 52; Noble Habana, 5 1/4 by 54; Magnum 46, 5 5/8 by 46; Small Club Corona, 4 by 44; Belicoso Favorita, 6 by 50; Gran Cru Perfecto, 6 by 54; and Crystal Delux, 5 1/4 by 50. All sizes come in boxes of 25 except the Small Club Corona, which comes in boxes of 52, and the Crystal Delux, which comes in boxes of eight. The eight sizes retail in the $4.50—$7.90 range.
Also new from Drew Estate is the infused Acid 5 cigar, created to commemorate the Acid brand's fifth anniversary. The sizes are: Short Corona, 4 by 54; Robusto, 5 by 54; and Torpedo, 6 by 54. Prices are $7.75, $11 and $13, respectively. Acid 5 comprises a U.S.A./Connecticut-broadleaf wrapper, Indonesian binder and Nicaraguan filler.
