Production Ceased on Zino Mouton Rothschild Cadet
Gregory Mottola
Posted: July 7, 2006
Swiss company Davidoff of Geneva has halted production of its current line of Zino Mouton Rothschild Cadet cigars. The company is letting retail stock run out to make room for a new blend coming out soon. Decreasing sales and waning popularity prompted Davidoff to consider a different approach to the brand.
Davidoff plans to restore what it believes to be Mouton Cadet's distinctive Honduran flavor, which changed around 1997 because the original tobaccos were no longer available.
