General Cigar Co. has created a maduro version of its Cohiba cigar. The brand will debut at the Retail Tobacco Dealers of America trade show in July.
I took a sneak peek at the new cigars in Santiago, Dominican Republic, last week. They feature gorgeous Connecticut-broadleaf wrappers, Dominican binders and a mix of filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Mexico. (The original version of this story had incorrect information on the blend.)
