Comprehensive Smoking Ban in Ontario

Starting May 31, the province of Ontario will prohibit
smoking in all enclosed public areas and enclosed workplaces,
including restaurants, bars, casinos, sports arenas
and tobacco shops. Backed by Premier Dalton McGuinty
of the Ontario Liberal party, the Smoke-Free Ontario Act,
a.k.a. Bill 164, received Royal Assent last June.
