Cigar Bar Subject for Relief

The next image to adorn your cigar room could benefit a worthy cause. California artist Robert Sturman is using his 1998 work, "Big Easy Cigar Bar," to generate funds for Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.
The mixed-media piece fuses painting and photography to depict a Bourbon Street cigar bar and its owner, Ron, who is standing on the balcony overlooking the street and smoking a cigar. It is being sold for $125 a print with 100 percent of the net proceeds going to three charities: HurricaneHousing.org, The Humane Society Hurricane Relief for Animals, and MusiCares Hurricane Relief Fund.
Each 10" by 10" print is on high-grade paper and matted to a 16" by 20" white matte board, which the artist signs personally with a note of gratitude. Larger sizes are available upon request.
Robert Sturman has gained notoriety this year as the 47th annual Grammy Awards official artist. For more information on him and the charity, go to www.robertsturmanstudio.com. To purchase a print, email robert@robertsturmanstudio.com or call 310-264-7826.
