Padrón 1926 Four Packs Shipping Today
Posted: December 9, 2013
Come later this week there will be a new look for some of the Padróns in your local humidor. Today, the Miami company is shipping out Padrón Serie 1926 cigars in four packs, the first time it has put the highly-rated line in this type of packaging.
The four packs, which were first written about in the August 27 Cigar Insider, takes the cigar brand named after the birth-year of Padrón patriarch José Orlando Padrón and puts it into compact, new packaging. Four of the brand's five sizes are being shipped in these packs, including the Padrón Serie 1926 No. 9, Cigar Aficionado's 2007 Cigar of the Year, which measures 5 1/4 inches by 56 ring gauge.
Only the No. 35, the smallest of the Serie 1926 sizes, will not be sold in four packs.
The new Serie 1926 four packs come in natural and maduro versions, and have suggested retail prices of $52.80 to $84.80 per four pack, depending on the size.
Padrón also sells cigars from its original, or "core" line, in packs of four.
The cigars are shipping from Padrón's Miami offices today and will reach retailers by the end of the week.
