Urban photographer Edgar Hoill has a new limited-edition smoke and it’s coming to market in edgy, hand-painted boxes. His new project, EH Cigars, is made and distributed under the banner of Christian Eiroa’s Fabricas Unidas company, and is a new, three-size line of unique perfectos.
First introduced at the IPCPR trade show, the new brand consists of three distinctly different tapered smokes each wrapped in decorative paper and packaged in illustrated boxes with a revolutionary theme. Vida is a 4 1/2 inch by 54 ring double-tapered perfecto with a long nipple foot; Cultura also measures 4 1/2 by 54, but tapers out to an open foot; and Pasíon sports a pointy top and narrow tapered foot.
Retailing for $7.95 to $9.95, EH Cigars use only Nicaraguan tobacco and are made in Honduras at the El Aladino factory, which also produces Eiroa and CLE cigars.
The brand represents a partnership between photographer Edgar Hoill (whom the O.S.O.K. cigar was named after) and Christian Eiroa of Fabricas Unidas and former owner of the Camacho brand.
