Asylum to Release New Straight Jacket

Posted: July 22, 2013
Christian Eiroa and Tom Lazuka are definitely proving that their Asylum brand has earned its name with the release of a new blend that they promise is their strongest to date.
Asylum Straight Jacket is a Nicaraguan puro blended for strength that will be available this month. Rolled in the El Aladino factory owned and operated in Honduras by Fabricas Unidas, the new blend will be a smaller production than previous Asylum lines.
Straight Jacket's format will follow suit with many of the other lines produced by Asylum and will include two large-ring vitolas. In addition to 5 inches by 50 ring gauge and 6 by 54 sizes, Asylum will also produce a 6 by 60 and the log-like 7 by 70.
The cigars will come packaged in 10-count boxes, and the individual sticks are set to retail between $8.95 and $11.95.
