Congratulations on 20 years of Cigar Aficionado! I have been an avid subscriber for many years and have enjoyed premium cigars nearly all of my adult life.
No other publication brings such pure delight upon its arrival. Your magazine has been a great source of information on cigars and the wonderful cigar families who bring us these handmade treasures in the face of natural disasters as well as those instigated by hostile governments. But, even more, Cigar Aficionado is a true celebration of the good life. It is not lost on any of your readers that there is a strong correlation between those who are successful in all walks of life and their appreciation of fine cigars and fellowship.
Cigar Aficionado’s large format, stunning photography and informative content stand out more than ever today (you have proven that even advertising can be sumptuous and informative). You make readers feel that we are in the room during the interviews and at the events you describe in such exquisite detail. All best wishes for the next 20 years.

I’m a huge fan of yours and the magazine. I especially loved the “mock” interviews with legends from the past. The Churchill piece was masterful.
I just wanted to congratulate you for your 20th anniversary. Reading about your struggles was very inspiring. As a young business owner, I found your message gave me hope in the face of adversity, a bad economy and a myriad of other factors.
I hope to grace the pages of your magazine one day. I took a picture of our beautiful plaza in downtown El Paso. Your magazine is in my lap and an Ashton cigar is in my free hand.
Wishing you another 20 years of success.
