Different Versions of Premier Issue of CA?
Are there really two different versions of the premier issue of Cigar Aficionado?

Yes.
There are two different versions of the premier issue of Cigar Aficionado (Autumn 1992). There is a small difference in the cover language between the U.S. version and the foreign version.

On the U.S. version, left, the highlighted stories on the cover are:
America's Favorite Cigars
Gay Talese on Streetwalking
Cigar-Friendly Restaurants
JFK's Cuba Connection
The foreign version, right, lists:
Cuba's Best Cigar
Tasting Robustos
Salinger on JFK
The foreign version is shown on the 20th anniversary issue, as well as on our archives page.
The magazines are otherwise identical. All the stories inside are the same. It is the only time in the magazine's history that we have a domestic and foreign cover.
