Record Booths for IPCPR Trade Show

The biggest trade show in the premium cigar industry is less than one month away, and show organizers say this one will set a record. The International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailers Association trade show begins on August 2, and in a very positive sign for the cigar industry, the IPCPR says the show will feature more booths than ever before.
“It’s going to be the largest one we’ve ever had—we have 1,361 booths,” said IPCPR CEO Bill Spann, in an interview with Cigar Insider, the twice-monthly Internet newsletter from Cigar Aficionado. Spann said the numbers exceed those during the cigar boom. “The largest number of booths we’ve ever had—and we have a waiting list.”
The show has grown considerably over the years. Last year the IPCPR had 1,260 booths. By comparison, 20 years ago in 1992, the organization (which was then known as the RTDA) had but 247 booths.

Plus, Orlando has Corona Cigar Co., huge cigar stores with big, comfortable smoking lounges.

Get away from your hotel bar. There are plenty of places there. Plus no extra tax on cigars! Just head 5 mins. east to Sand Lk Rd (restaurant/bar row w/ plenty outside seating. Or 5 miles west to Disney for Fuego by Sosa. Stogies @ Citywalk. Not to mention 3 Corona Superstores w/ late hrs. Plus, smoking in public parks!
