Cigar Insider Rates Cuban Edición Limitadas

The Cuban Edición Limitadas hit the market a little later than usual this year, but now that they’re available at tobacconists around the world, Cigar Insider has rated them all.
This year’s limited-edition releases are centered around the Cohiba 1966, a 6 1/2 inch by 52 ring Cañonazo Extra that commemorates Cohiba’s 45th anniversary.
Habanos S.A., the worldwide distributor of Cuban cigars, has also resurrected the long retired Ramon Allones Allones Extra, a 5 5/8 by 44 ring size that was
discontinued decades ago. As a further nod to antiquity, Habanos
re-issued the old band art to adorn the new smoke, which marks the first time Ramon Allones has ever been part of the Edición Limitada program.
The popular Hoyo de Monterrey brand has had many appearances as an
Edición Limitada. This year’s offering comes in the form of a 5 3/8 by
46 mini belicoso called Short Hoyo Pirámides.
Curious as to which one scored the best? See the current issue of Cigar Insider.
