I have never seen Nat Sherman listed anyplace in these articles?
They are a great smoke, always consistant even and a sweet finish.
Smoke and be well.

If CA recognizes on line buys then Cuba Libre would make this list every year. 89/90 rating and a great great value from Nestor Plasencia.

Now I know how Americans must feel, I can't get any of the cigars from the first 3 pages over here in the UK, all I seem to be able to get is bloody cubans!

Hi Philip Clarkin,
Don't feel so bad, you're not missing much, LOL

Not a bad list at all for best bargains of the year. Got some pretty nice "smokes" on the list. Try a couple and enjoy!

Got to agree with Lewis on the omission of Perdomos from the list. Always a great smoke!
Long ashes to all.

What about Punch Magnum? Come on I'll put that cigar next to all of them. Best selling cigar in my shop...Under $5 bones...Duty Free(:

I agree with Matthew regarding the Nat Sherman. A list of bargain cigars is not complete without at least one Nat Sherman.

My local tobacconist, Sam at Grayslake Tobacco, knows my preference for strong full-bodied, rich cigars. He suggested Vallejuelo. I was hesitant, but his suggestions have often proven to be right on. Well...he was right again! Vallejuelo looks like a Cuban-made cigar with the 3-seam cap and all. It also smoked like a Cuban! I've had Cuban Hoyos and Partagas this year and Vallejuelo was as good or better. Some of you won't believe me, so I suggest you try one for yourself and then provide your feedback here. Happy smoking and thanks Sam!

I tried a box of Vallejuelo as suggested by Mark Cederberg in post here. Wonderful cigars! I just got back from Toronto where you can buy the best Cubans for big $$$. I agree with Mark that the Vallejuelos (~$6) were as good or better than the pricey Cubans (e.g. Montecristo #2, Bolivar Fino, Partagas, etc.)...they were all about $30 US. I think I found a new favorite cigar at a great price. I purchased box of 20 Vallejuelo Gran Toro for $108 with free shipping at factorydirectcigars.com. Do yourself a favor and try them!

Cuba Aliados Toro in maduro at about $2 and change is my favorite bargain cigar. Get them regularly from CI.

Trying to purchase CAO La Traviata online, can't find them, anybody got a website for me?
David Cubeta — June 3, 2013 12:49pm ET
No way the El Rey Del Mundo brand is not on EVERY persons list of go to,downright cheap every day cigars...I would put this cigar up against anything at even 3 x the price...I have smoked a ton of these and will boldly state that you could offer this cigar to anyone, and not feel embarrassed or ashamed...
In fact, I will often remove the labels, so as to not have the smoker distracted...Try it and you will be amazed at the favorable responses that almost everyone will confirm that they have a top quality product in their hands...Cheers...The Boston Bill Collector

I am amazed that there is not one Perdomo or more Casa Magnas on this list. I agree very much with the CAO La Traviata's. I work at a Cigar lounge in Denver, CO and Casa Magnas are the best selling Cigar by far out of our humidor.
