Cubans Release Trinidad Anniversary Humidor

Gregory Mottola
Posted: December 28, 2010

In celebration of the Trinidad brand's 40th anniversary, Habanos S.A., the worldwide distributor of Cuban cigars, has rolled out the Trinidad 40th Anniversary humidor. Crafted of cedar and majagua wood, the humidor has a natural greenish hue signifying the green colors found on Trinidad's band and packaging.

The humidor contains 40 Trinidad 40 Aniversario cigars, each one measuring 5 7/8 inches by 52 ring gauge-the same dimensions as the iconic Cohiba Siglo VI, which is known as a cañonazo in Cuban cigar factories. Like all Trinidads, the cigars are crafted with pigtail caps.

Only 400 humidors have been produced and, according to an official Habanos press release, the smokes "will
be available in the coming weeks at La Casa del Habanos shops worldwide."
