Cusano Moves—Davidoff and Camacho Next

DomRey/Cusano, the company behind the Cusano and Cuvée cigar brands and a subsidiary of the Oettinger Davidoff Group, owners of Davidoff and Avo cigars, has moved its headquarters from Sarasota to Pinellas Park, Florida.
The move, which was completed yesterday as DomRey/Cusano began normal operating hours at the new location, is the first in a trio of moves involving the entire Davidoff group in the United States.
Davidoff subsidiary Camacho Cigars, currently based in Miami, as well as Davidoff of Geneva, currently based in Stamford, Connecticut, will move into the same building at a later, unspecified date.
CigarAficionado.com first reported on the Davidoff group move in February, saying the change "would bring Davidoff closer to all of its cigar-making operations, which are located in Honduras and the Dominican Republic." Davidoff had originally intended for DomRey to be in the new building by July.
The Davidoff group had considered South Carolina as a relocation spot, but opted with Pinellas Park in part due to incentives offered by the local government.
Davidoff is to receive more than $250,000 for the move from the state of Florida, Pinellas County and in tax reduction from Pinellas Park.
