Most Powerful Avo Yet
Posted: September 17, 2010
If you enjoyed the strength of the 2009 Limited Edition Avo Compañero, then you will no doubt be interested in Davidoff's new Avo Heritage line, whose blend is based on the full-bodied formula of the original 2009 release.
"I wanted a line that caters to the seasoned cigar enthusiast who demands a complex, full-bodied smoking experience," stated Avo Uvezian, the brand's octogenarian ambassador.
The filler consists of three different Dominican Ligero tobaccos, a Dominican Seco and a Peruvian Seco. A Dominican San Vicente binder and Cuban-seed Ecuadoran wrapper make this cigar the most full-bodied Avo brand in Davidoff's regular production porfolio.
Retailing for $7.00 to $9.50, Avo Heritage comes in four sizes: Churchill, 6 3/4 inches by 48 ring; Robusto, 4 7/8 inches by 50 ring; Short Robusto, 4 by 56; and Toro, 6 by 50.
For a vertical tasting on the entire line, see an upcoming issue of Cigar Insider.
