Cigar Aficionado's 2010 NFL Preview

Fans of the gridiron rejoice—football season is finally back. Cigar Aficionado enlisted football expert Danny Sheridan to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of all 32 teams that make up the National Football League and predict how each one will finish in their division and who will play in—and win—Super Bowl XLV in Dallas on February 6, 2011.

Sheridan, the sports analyst for U.S.A. Today, provides daily odds on all sporting events, and he pulls no punches in his in-depth analysis.

“The growling Bears, surly because they didn’t have a single draft choice in the first two rounds, roared into the free agency woods and emerged with two trophy signings,” he writes about Chicago. “Nonagenarian owner Ralph Wilson should have applied for a stimulus package after watching his Bills crumble again,” he says of the Buffalo football squad.

Will Sheridan go out on a limb for his Super Bowl prediction? “Even though Vegas lists them as a 5:1 underdog to win the NFC and a 12:1 underdog to win it all, the Saints are racked, stacked, loaded and motivated,” he writes.

Who does he pick to win it all, and why? Read it in the October Cigar Aficionado, on newsstands everywhere now.
