Cigar Trade Show Begins

The 78th annual International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailers trade show (formerly known as the RTDA) opens today in New Orleans, Louisiana. The show brings together nearly all of the companies that make and sell cigars for the American market, the largest market for premium cigars on the planet.
The trade show is the traditional venue for cigar companies to unveil their latest cigars to the retail trade. Today’s lineup consists of seminars—the trade show proper opens on Tuesday, and concludes on Friday.
