REVIEW | Don Lino Africa Kifaro

Tasting Note: A good-looking, pointy torpedo with a faint draw that does not produce much smoke. It starts out sweet and leathery but takes on acidic flavors that carry onto the finish.

Dark and oily, this torpedo draws well. Sweet tobacco flavors carry hints of cherry and coca, but the finish is slightly chemical.

Score: 88
A dark, oily torpedo that smokes well. It’s charry, with sweet cedary notes and a nutty finish. Medium-bodied.

Issue: Cigar Insider, Aug 24, 2004
Score: 88
A potent torpedo with a fine cap and a dark, shiny wrapper. The burn starts out unevenly, but straightens out. Flavors are creamy with notes of coffee and cocoa. There's light spice on the finish with a hint of vanilla.
