Comment: I went to Les Halles last week for lunch. I asked for a bottle of wine, a napa`s cabernet( it was almost 16%) and it was warm. I am from Brazil and here all the restaurants have refrigerated cellars. It was 92F at NY, a wine will never be at the correct temperature with this weather. I asked for the server why they don`t have it..and she was so unpolite with me. She said this is the way we do, if people come is couse it is right, i am not a wine expert.
I am sorry, but i am! And i think that WS should not give any award to restaurant that doens`t know about wine service.
Wine temperature can kill the wine.
They have a wine director, but not a refrigerated cellar?
