The term "special wrapper" truly fits this corpulent and pricey Zino. The regular Chubby is crafted with a pale Connecticut-seed wrapper, but these versions have rich chocolate-brown wrappers that lend a bolder flavor to the smoke. The construction of the cigar -- overseen by Hendrik Kelner of Davidoff fame -- is impeccable and eye-grabbing: the bulbous smoke is a full 61 ring gauge around the middle, tapering on each end, and measures 5 7/8 inches long. The taste is big on the wood with some pepper and other spices, along with a toasty, earthy finish combining for a full body.
