General Cigar created the Honduran version of Cuba's Sancho Panza brand in 2001. The cigar was a mild, easy-smoking bargain. In 2004, General spiced up the line while keeping the bargain price tag, creating Sancho Panza Extra Fuerte. General swapped the Connecticut-shade wrapper for Cuban-seed leaf grown in Honduras, a reddish-brown tobacco with good flavor. The best of the four-size line is the fattest, the Madrid, which measures 6 1/4 inches by 54 ring. That's a lot of medium-bodied cigar for only $4.25.
