Davidoff Moving U.S. Office to Florida

Posted: Tuesday, February 02, 2010

By Gregory Mottola

Davidoff of Geneva (CT) Inc. is moving its U.S. headquarters and distribution center from Stamford, Connecticut, to Pinellas Park, Florida, a municipality outside of Tampa.

The move will bring Davidoff closer to all of its cigar-making operations, which are located in Honduras and the Dominican Republic. Davidoff’s brands, such as Davidoff, Zino, and Avo, are made in the Dominican Republic. The brands made by its recently acquired subsidiaries Cusano and Camacho are produced in the Dominican and Honduras, respectively.

Davidoff plans on expanding a vacated building in order to accommodate its needs, which will require humidified storage rooms, business offices, and basic IT and telecommunications infrastructure.

To learn more details about the relocation, see the next Cigar Insider.
