La Flor Dominicana El Museo Goes on Sale

Posted: Friday, May 22, 2009

By David Savona

The La Flor Dominicana cigar created in conjunction with artist Ruben Toledo went on sale this week. The La Flor Dominicana El Museo Limited Edition is a Churchill-sized cigar measuring 6 3/4 inches by 52 ring gauge. The Dominican puro features a stunning lacquer box with designs from Toledo on both sides of the lid.

"Everybody got them this week," said Gomez, who was in New York City for the launch.

The cigars sell for $600 per box, and proceeds will benefit El Museo del Barrio, New York City's only Latin American museum.
