Cigar Rights of America Throwing Cocktail Party

Posted: Friday, April 10, 2009

By David Savona

The Cigar Rights of America (CRA) is throwing a members-only private party on April 18, immediately following Cigar Aficionado's Big Smoke at MGM Grand at Foxwoods in Connecticut.

The event, to be held at the Shrine Nightclub inside the casino, starts at 10 p.m.

The party is free and includes hors d'oeuvres, drinks and cigars. Some of the best-known names in the cigar business will be in attendance, including Carlos Fuente Jr. of Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia., Jorge Padrón of Padrón Cigars Inc., Litto Gomez, maker of La Flor Dominicana, Robert Levin, owner of the Ashton brands, Rocky Patel, Pete Johnson, owner of the Tatuaje brand, and Alan Rubin, owner of Alec Bradley Cigars.

Admission is free to CRA members; the CRA will have a booth at the Big Smoke to sign up members that night.
