Xikar Expands Via Acquisition

Xikar Inc. announced last month that it has purchased Madelaine Humidification Systems for an undisclosed amount.
"Xikar's goal is to become the No. 1 cigar accessory [company] in the trade," said Kurt Van Keppel, president of Xikar Inc., which is based in Kansas City, Missouri. "With this acquisition, Xikar is now positioned to offer customers even more products and service."
The Willits, California–based Madelaine produces humidification products as well as handmade humidors.
