Cusano Expands in Dominican Republic

Posted: Thursday, November 29, 2007

By David Savona

Cuvée Rouge
The men behind the popular Cusano line of cigars are expanding in the Dominican Republic. In the first quarter of 2008, brothers Mike and Joe Chiusano will open a global distribution hub in Santiago, Dominican Republic, complete with a rolling gallery for making some of the company's newest lines.

To date, all Cusano cigars have been made by Tabacos Dominicanos in the Dominican Republic, including the company's latest cigars, such as Cuvée Blanc and Cuvée Rouge. New products, as well as the recently released Cuvée Rouge line, will soon be rolled at the new facility, which will be called DR Global.
