Toraño Tries Something New in the Casa Toraño Maduro

This year, Toraño Cigars has introduced a smoke that represents two firsts for the company.
The Casa Toraño Maduro, featured at this year's Retail Tobacco Dealers of America convention, marks the first time that the company has made a cigar with Connecticut broadleaf and the first time that it has made a lancero-size cigar for commercial production.
Not to be confused with the Connecticut-shade Casa Toraño cigar, the Casa Maduro is a new cigar with a Connecticut-broadleaf maduro wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and filler composed of tobaccos from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. Made at the Latin Cigars de Nicaragua factory in Nicaragua, the cigar comes in boxes of 25 and is available in four sizes: Robusto, 4 3/4 inches by 52 ring; Toro, 6 1/4 by 50; Torpedo, 6 1/2 by 54; and Lancero, 7 by 38.
The Casa Maduro has a suggested retail price range of $5.50 to $6.50.
