Andre Garcia Cigar Briefcase

Posted: Monday, October 15, 2007

By Michael Moretti

If you're a person who can't seem to find enough safe travel space for your cigars, Andre Garcia gives you the Cigar Briefcase.

From the outside it could easily pass for the typical executive satchel, but unclip the clasp and flip it open and inside is a 40-stick-capacity mega cigar case. The top lid underneath the flap unzips to reveal an interior space complete with a cedar lining and collapsible partitions to keep your smokes fresh, separated and upright. The case is also equipped with two front pockets to stow lighters, cutters and other cigar or non-cigar-related accessories. The adjustable strap makes carrying convenient and hard-sided construction should protect delicate sticks from the wear and tear of your average journey.

Andre Garcia is a fairly new name to the cigar case market. Based in a family-owned factory in Calcutta, India, the brand debuted in 2003 but had only been known to a handful of retailers until expanding last year.

The Cigar Briefcase, also called the 40 Finger Pack and Go, retails for $399.99 and is available in plain black leather and brown and black crocodile print leather. Go to www.andregarciacases.com for more information.
