Maxx Cigars from Alec Bradley

Posted: Friday, August 11, 2006

By David Savona

Alec Bradley Cigar Co, a boutique cigarmaker, has launched a new brand called Maxx.

Maxx comes in five sizes, each of which is considerably fat and creatively named. There's The Fix (5 by 58), The Culture (6 1/2 by 54), The Freak (6 3/8 by 60), The Curve (7 by 58) and The Ego (9 1/4 by 50).

In an odd move, each size in the brand has the same suggested retail price: $5.00.

The cigars are made for Alec Bradley by Nestor Plasencia in Honduras from a blend of Colombian, Nicaraguan, Mexican and Honduran fillers, with Costa Rican binders and Nicaraguan wrappers.
