Daniel Marshall Travel Humidor

The same thin, creamy leather skins wrapped on supermodels, high-heeled shoes and high-end handbags can now be sported down the runway by cigar smokers. Acclaimed humidor maker Daniel Marshall Inc. has teamed up with legendary fashion label Versace to bring cigar smokers a stylish new travel humidor.
Versace, founded by the late ultra-posh fashion designer Gianni Versace, makes the boxes in Italy to Daniel Marshall's specifications. They are then shipped to Daniel Marshall workshops in California and fitted with cigar-friendly Spanish cedar interiors.
The leather covering is durable as well as soft, resistant to the occasional scratch and bump that can result from life on the road. The boxes are bound by a leather hinge in the back and by a brass Versace-designed clasp -- plated in a choice of silver or gold and bearing the Daniel Marshall name -- in the front. The interior is equipped with two torpedo-shaped humidification units that are magnetized to the inside and enclosed by a removable cedar compartment, as well as a Daniel Marshall hygrometer, which attaches to the lid. Each humidor is signed and numbered by Daniel Marshall, the company's owner, and can house up to 33 robustos or 23 Churchills.
The Daniel Marshall Travel Humidor is available at fine tobacconists and retails for $295. For more information, call Daniel Marshall Inc. at 800-923-2889.
