Leather-Clad Humidors

Posted: Monday, August 11, 2003

By Mark Weissenberger

It's a question that's been weighing on your mind for some time: what type of humidor would best fit in the environs of my game trophy room?

How about one wrapped in animal skin?

Atoll Enterprises, makers of fine leather-wrapped cigar cases, has ventured into the realm of desktop humidors. And the company hasn't forgotten its leather prints. Every humidor is covered with Italian leather, pressed into the following animal skin designs -- crocodile, ostrich and standard cowhide.

The humidors are available in two sizes, one that will hold approximately 200 cigars, the other 250. The entire box is made with Spanish cedar, surrounded on the lid and sides by the leather. The bottom is lined with felt. Ten different colors, including coffee, Cognac and Havana (tan-brown), are available.

Your next question now is: which animal skin humidor should I choose to hold my favorite cigars?

For the retail price of each humidor, or for more information, contact Atoll Enterprises in Van Nuys, California, at 818-376-1031.
