Partagas Lets It Roll
Posted: Wednesday, June 16, 2004
By Michael Moretti Usually cigars go to the casino, but since April, the casino has been coming to the cigars. Partagas is taking a roulette table on the road to your local tobacconist.
Fifty Partagas Roulette Nights are scheduled to take place at select tobacco retailers throughout the United States as part of the promotion for the brand made by General Cigar Co. The event has already made two stops in Florida, with 48 more planned for the rest of the country. A six-foot sign, 200 postcards, a friendly dealer and the possibility of winning instant prizes greet those wishing to play the wheel.
Customers won't be able to win real money if the ball falls on a winning number, but those attending the event will receive a free deck of Partagas playing cards with the purchase of a specially priced (25 percent off) 10-box of Partagas cigars including, but not limited to, the Spanish Rosado and Black Label lines.
