The Invite of Indoor Cigar Shop Events

Feel that bite in the air? It's the coming of autumn, where sidewalk-puffing sessions are going to get increasingly frigid in New York City. With indoor smoking nixed, the routes to a warm retreat are limited. Don't panic. The Davidoff of Geneva cigar shop on Madison Avenue is stepping up with an enticing alternative.
Davidoff has jammed this fall with a smorgasbord of events that will give the cigar smoker shelter as the weather gets colder.
This Sunday, the store is running a benefit for the Jazz Foundation of America with "Cigars 4 Jazz," featuring cigars, spirits and hors d'oeuvres, plus a Davidoff cigar auction. Following up on the 23rd is a dinner pairing steaks from Rothmann's restaurant with Rocky Patel Vintage cigars.
For October, Davidoff on Madison, in conjunction with the Columbus Circle Davidoff store, is gathering representatives from Pro Cigars, a group of Dominican cigar makers, at the posh Hudson Hotel for a roundtable discussion regarding the legacy of Dominican tobacco.
Montecristo Platinum cigars will host an in-shop event on Madison with the brand's Platinum babes (or a cardboard cutout). The shop will also feature an Oktoberfest coupling cigars with beer and bratwurst prepared by Rothmann's own chef.
Events range in price from $25 to $125 per person. Call Davidoff at 1-800-548-4623 for specific times, prices and dates. Also in Cigar News:
