Although it cannot be seen on this web page, the inferior paper that this fake band is printed on lacks the proper coating of an authentic Davidoff band, resulting in an off-white, almost cream-colored, tone. As for the band's gold coloring, it is too bright and shiny. The centerpiece has profound faults as well. The scripted "Davidoff" lacks clarity because the gold script doesn't properly trace over the embossing. This is also true of the oval loop as the gold coloring doesn't accurately cover the raised dots. Finally, the font of the words "GENÈVE" and "GENEVA" are slightly smaller than on the genuine article, substituting sharp words with bleary ones.
