Doug Wood

La Perla Habana
La Perla Habana Maduro Torpedo

"One shape comes to mind as it conjures up a host of cigar memories for me. It is the torpedo, 6 1/4 by 52. The Montecristo No. 2 from Cuba has been the benchmark for this shape since World War II. I include this shape in all my cigar lines," says Doug Wood, owner of the La Perla Habana and Black Pearl brands. "I like the ease in which it rests between the fingers. It's a very natural fit for a man's hand. I enjoy the torpedo after dinner when you can relax, unwind and savor the moment."
