"My favorite size is 5 1/2 [inches] by 49 [ring gauge]," says Angel Daniel Núñez, president and chief operating officer of General Cigar Co., maker of Cohiba, Punch and Hoyo de Monterrey. "It's the size I am most comfortable with, and the one that I grew accustomed to smoking over the years. I feel that 5 1/2 by 49 gives the best balance of flavor. In fact, I make all new product prototypes in this size because it provides equilibrium for tasting."
